Waynesburg Naz Staff & Leadership

The staff and leadership here at Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church.   • John Poling

    Lead Pastor

    John Mark Poling

    Pastor John is the senior pastor here at Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene.  From Mount Vernon Nazarene University, he has earned an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Music.  For MVNU, he traveled for three summers doing public relations (twice in a singing group, once as a student recruiter).  While living in Mt Vernon he also had the privilege of being asked to do two concerts at the Ohio State Fair at the Gospel Music Pavilion, and was featured in an article about that in the Columbus Dispatch Sunday edition. 
    Pastor John has sung and preached for revival services and camp-meetings across the MVNU educational zone and beyond. 

    Prior to his ministry at Waynesburg Church of the Nazarene, He served as a youth pastor for three years.  He also had the opportunity to be the minister of music in three different churches.

    Since 1995, Pastor Poling has served Waynesburg Church of the Nazarene in various capacities.  He was ordained on the Pittsburgh District in 2000 and in 2011, he was honored by being selected as the ENC Pastor of the Year for the Pittsburgh District Church of the Nazarene.  In addition, He has served the Pittsburgh district as a representative on the District Advisory Board and the Credentials/Ministry board.  Pastor Poling has also utilized his gift by teaching on leadership as part of the continuing education program for ministers.  

    He is the husband of Tresa, the father of Jordan and Jana and the very proud grandfather of two young boys with a third on the way.

    Riley moved to Boise directly from Philadelphia, where he lived and worked until he was 22. Before moving, Riley led outreach programs on the streets of South Philly; working mostly with the homeless to provide them with food, shelter and any other necessities. Prior to that, Riley’s favorite job was working as a security guard at Phillies games.

  • Christine Siordia

    Children's Pastor

    Jessie grew up in a small town outside of Seattle, Washington. She studied Biology and Chemistry at Concordia in Portland, but decided to pursue a career in ministry after feeling called by the Lord immediately after graduation. Feeling pulled to the Boise area, she moved to Boise in 2007 with her husband Brian, and started at Anthem in 2010.

    Timothy Meeks

    Timothy joined our staff as the youth pastor to the teens and their families in 2016. Before coming to Waynesburg, Tim served the Church of the Nazarene in East Idaho. He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in youth ministry from the Northwest Nazarene University. In 2015, he was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

    Tim, by his own admission, is a “flip-flop-wearing, cow-loving, sweet-tea drinking, dumpster-diving, NASCAR enthusiast who loves the Lord with all of his heart, soul, mind, & strength!

    Timothy is married to Natalie and has 3 cats: Wybie, Doofy, & Nick.



    Christine Siordia

    Christine joined our staff as Pastor to Children and Their Families in 2009.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs and was ordained in the church in 2012.  She is childcare director qualified and has her Child Development Associates degree from Pikes Peak College in Colorado.

    Before coming to Waynesburg, Christine served as the Administrative Assistant to Children, where she worked in outreach to children and many other areas of ministry at First Church of the Nazarene in Colorado Springs.  She spear headed outreach to children in a park ministry, special events for children, and developed a Worship Arts Ministry for Kids. 

    As the Children’s Pastor at Waynesburg, Chris is responsible for directing a dynamic team of servants to reach, win, and grow children (up to grade five) and their families in Christ.  Her passions include bringing creativity to learning God’s word and presenting the gospel visually.  Christine’s primary passion, though, is to see children come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him. 

    Currently, Chris serves as the Pittsburgh District Children’s Director.  Her responsibilities include ensuring quality care for children at district events, recruiting special speakers for children and overseeing Children’s Ministries Directors to accomplish God related goals for our children in the district.

    Christine is married to Jose and they have four boys: Joshua, Evan, Matthew, and Nicholas.
